Bollé nominated for the Silmo d'Or 2011 in the VISION category

December 08, 2011 - After a first selection and a deliberation, the board of experts has nominated Bollé with new Bollé RX program B-ThinActive design, for the “Silmo d’Or” 2011. The “Silmo d'Or” will be presented on Thursday, September 29th 2011, during an official Award ceremony.

December 09, 2011 - After Adrien Théaux’s 2nd place in the Super G last week, Marie Marchand-Arvier clinched her 4th World Cup podium last Saturday on the Canadian stage.
2nd of the Downhill, Marie seems to be back in a very good shape for this new ski season.

Season’s first win for Tessa Worley (Fra) !

January 21, 2012 - After a 3rd place last December in Lienz (Aut), Tessa comes back on the highest step of the podium finishing 1st in Kranjska Gora’s GS!
2nd in the first run, the French skier clocked the fastest time in the second run and grabs her career 6th victory on the World Cup tour.
Note that she is now 4th in the discipline’s World cup ranking.

Tanja Poutiainen (Fin), 2nd in the Slalom!

January 22, 2012 - After Tessa’s win on Saturday, Finn Tanja Poutiainen made also a good job on the Slovenian stage, taking 2nd place in the Slalom. At 31 years, she achieved thus her 46th World Cup podium!

A 3rd place in Combined for Silvan Zurbriggen on the mythical Streif!

January 22, 2012 - Silvan is  back  in top form  at Kitzbühel!
2nd last winter in the Combined (Downhill + Slalom), the Swiss Champion is again on the podium this year taking 3rd place of the competition!
A very good result from the skier from Brigg on this mythical piste.

Note also the good performance from Adrien Théaux who finished 4th in this stage.

Seth Wescott and Lindsey Jacobellis out for season.

January 26, 2012 - Bad news for Lindsey Jacobellis who tore the ACL in her left knee yesterday during a training at the Winter X Games. It is a big disappointment for this great champion who was in the lead at the 2012 FIS World Cup. Seth Wescott has to stop his season too because of torn pectoral muscle.
Indeed the Two-time Olympic gold medalist injured during a Snowboardcross World Cup last Thursday in Veysonnaz. He get a surgery at the beginning of the week and stays confident for his recovery.
We wish them all the best and hope to see them back soon on the circuit.
